I would agree that alot of what you wrote sounds like bipolar  The fact you see the symptoms of bipolar does not mean that he can see it.  I would also recommend he get help, there are medications and therapy available that can help and hopefully he will seek help.  But, you need to be aware that Bipolar is a lifetime mental illness and even with care, there are still times of breakthrough.  The medication helps to control the symptoms most of the time but it is not a cure.
I can tell you that I am bipolar and have had a rough time maintaining a relationship because I push people away when I get depressed and depression can come on quickly just like mania.  If you are committed to this relationship, I recommend you learn as much as possible about bipolar. Best of luck to both of you..

The part where he questions your intent sounds like paranoia which can easily be a symptom of bipolar disorder.  I would ask a psychiatrist though if it is paranoia since only they can figure this stuff out for sure.  Most likely him pushing you away and stuff is caused by his bipolar disorder.f

it sounds alot like symptoms of bipolar
where mainia can m,ake you see up to sudden big changes in your life
such as changing your religion sexuality job or spending all kinds of money
in his case it could possibly mean trying to move out of state.....
Depression may cause people to withdrawl or to have a lack of energy
bipolar simply means you will cycle (sometimes rapidly) back and forth between the two and in soem cases have both at once in a sortof "mixed state"
However as much as anyone knows here about bipolar the best adive any of us could give is for is for your bf to see a phychitrist
then he/she can perscribe medication for your bf to become stable....
This is the first step because with bipolar not being properly controled it is hard to make
importance decisions in your life for example being in a serious relstionship
see if you can ask him lightly if he has a regalr doctor who perscribes medication
get back to us and let us know how it goes

If he has bipolar and it is not well treated, it can cause some difficulties like that. Having mania or depression can make you act oddly. For example, in depression you might pull away from everyone, and in mania you might go out and do things you regret later. He could also have some other problems. If he is seeing a doctor for his bipolar then he should let them know if the medication is not working properly and perhaps try a different treatment. Talk therapy can be helpful as well.

If he is not seeing a doctor he should.
