starting Geodon,,,

I'm starting Geodon this week.  I've been told it's more sedating than the Risperdal that I was on so I've been advised to take it at night.
Anyone have any experiences with Geodon?

My dose was upped from 20mg to 60mg.  I guess it's supposed to be for acute mania or mood stabilizer or something.  I don't think it's working.

i took Geodon for several months back in 2008. all i can say is that nightmare is over. i could barely, and i mean barely, drag myself out of bed everyday. however, once that awful leaden feeling wore off, i felt good. it just wasn't worth the 3 hour long zombie to human struggle on a daily basis.

I have taken Geodon before and it did not make me sedated, not sleepy at all. Everyone responds differently to meds though. If your dr says you can take it at night, that sounds like a good plan. Maybe you will be able to tell how sleepy you get and if you feel groggy in the morning, in which case taking it at night would be best.

I took geadone for a while  and it made me like a zombie and it made my nose sooooo stuffed up. But I tried to stick with it because sometimes the side affects go away. But then I started to faint and I had to go off of it.  It was very Terrible for me.
