Bipolar medication

so I think i have bipolar 2 but my docs initially feel im depresseion and anxiety,so we start on WELLBUTRIN..then my cycles were changing rapidy and i used to feel agigtated more,,i was moving in more depresiion and hypomanic,,and then i was said to take one tablet of every evening of zuloft after wellbutin in morining,,and in that night my whole life changed,,i started to feel jittery,,headaxhe,,jittery,,my leg started to shake,,i drank 20 bottles of water,,i felt ot suicide,,somehow i slept and then n ext day he told me i had serotonint syndrome and got hospitalized had ativan..
MY point is what went wrong,,is zoloft right for bipolar or is just the combination is bad,,shudnt he administre me LITHIUM??

  If an anti-depressent induces mania that can be one potential sign that a person has bipolar but it would depend on what else is going on. Best to keep a mood tracker and also think if in the past before you started medication if you had varying mood episodes rather than just depression. It would be essential for your psychiatrist to be open minded about this or if they can't be it might be worthwhile to seek a second opinion.
