Hormonal periods?

I had my last real period beginning on Feb 4. Lasted 5-6 days. Had unprotected sex on the 14th. Took Jolessa birth control pill on the 15th. I do not take the pill regularly, as it sent me to the ER for hemorrhaging and severe, chronic migraines. However, my old OB told me the morning after pill is the same as a double dose of birth control if you are not regularly taking it. Had a period start early on the 27th of Feb. Lasted 4-5 days, though no cramping as per usual. March 7 had protected sex, with condom breaking. Took one Jolessa pill on the 8th. Began bleeding again last night, though this time it appears to be old blood and light. Since having my son, I have moved and no longer have an OB. Tested for pregnancy on March 11 with a negative result. Am I experiencing hormonal periods due to the random birth control?

Thanks. If I am pregnant that is fine (we will be trying for #2 in the summer-hence why we are not being extremely aggressive in pregnancy prevention), I would just like to know what is causing the bleeding. I have attributed it to the birth control hormones triggering a hormonal period. But now I have no idea when my real egg shedding period is-if it was on the 27th or starting last night.
