HI,
Since both gynera and trust pills are progestin-estrogen combined oral contraceptive pills, there should not be any problem. Because there is a change in brand it would be wise to give it 7 days in order to be effective and use additional precautions during this period.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
If a woman is switching to a new pill it should never be started from the middle of your cycle. It is advisable to start the new pill pack on the day that you would have started the first day of your next old pill pack. By doing so you are protected from pregnancy right away. You will not need any other method of contraception or any back-up birth control method. After starting any new method it may take 2-3 months for your body to adjust to the changing hormone levels. You have started the new pack on the same day as you would have started with your old pill. You may not need any additional method of contraception. If you have more queries and assistance it is suggested to visit a gynecologist. In that case spotting continues or you have any other symptom you may need a detailed evaluation. This is only an advice and not a substitute for medical examination. Keep me posted with more queries. Hope it helped.
Best wishes and regards!
