bleeding

I want to come off the pill. I didn't take the pill in 4 days and I'm bleeding VERY heavy! What did I do wrong? The only thing I can say that I did was didn't take the last row of the sugar pills. But what now with all this bleeding?

Could be your 'period' coming early since you suddenly stopped the pills. When you stop birth control you should always consult your doctor first to see when the safe time for the type of pill you are on would be to come off them. This would normally be after you finish one pack...you just don't start the new one after having the withdrawal bleed. Stopping the pill before finishing the pack, confuses you body and messes up your cycle and woudl result in bleeding or early 'period.
