MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
The causes of irregular menses are pregnancy, hormonal fluctuations; thyroid disorders etc. Any birth control method whether temporary or permanent has few chances of failure. If you are doubtful about pregnancy take up pregnancy test again. Serum HCG determination is more specific and reliable method of detecting pregnancy. If pregnancy is ruled out you may need evaluation for other possibilities like hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders etc.Seeking the opinion of a gynecologist will be helpful. Keep me posted.
Best wishes and regards!
