Am I Covered or Not?

I have recently become sexually active with my boyfriend. I want to protect myself from unwanted pregnancies because I had a recent pregnancy scare even though  my boyfriend used a condom. I have a medical card as well now so will it cover the cost for Plan B or a Depo shot if I wanted it?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Birth control pills are very effective in preventing pregnancy if taken correctly and regularly. Other options are depo vera, condoms, implants, IUDs etc.Every method has its own advantages and disadvantages. There are chances of failure in every method.Which is the most appropriate method for you can be decided only after a clinical examination and detailed history. This is merely an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination. If the symptoms are severe and persistent it is best to consult a gynecologist. I sincerely hope it helps. Keep me posted.
Best luck and regards!
