Curious

How long does it usually take for your body to "regulate" itself after coming off birth control. I ask as I have just come off mine and was wondering how long it would take. Thanks lovelies

Thanks ladies. I had heard some horror stories on my research and it kind of freaked me out lol. Well I finished the packet then decided to stop whilst on my withdrawal bleed as my partner and I are now going to try to start adding to our family. So fingers crossed it isn't to bad lol. Thanks again ladies so much

I was on birth control pills for over 10 years before I went off them to get pregnant with my son.  I got my period 5 weeks after I stopped taking them.  Some women take longer to adjust - it depends on your body.  If you haven't gotten your period after 8 weeks, call your doctor.  I hope this helps!

Hi!
I went on birth controle for about 6 months and my it was the worst thing I have ever done. My body freaked out in many ways. I stopped taking it cold turkey and I did not get my period for 5 months but I got the cramps. Odd eh?  It took me about a year to naturally regulate :)
