I've been on birth control pill all my life but someone it failed me n since am not ready to have a baby yet,
I have taken both Mifepresitone and Misoprostol tablet but nothing has happened yet, just experienced very little bleeding dat lasted less than a minute and also experienced a little cramp... I have gone for an ultra sound and nothing was found (no sign of pregnancy) I have repeated d pregnancy test with both serum n urine and its still positive... Its been 2days since I took the drugs.

Thanks Arti, I don't feel pregnant anymore and I've gone for ultrasound twice after I posted still nothing was found... However I've repeated d urine test and its still positive although the line on the test strip gets fainter each time I do test, so am assuming its a good thing. I'm still waiting till 13weeks elapse before I go and see a doctor.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
In early few weeks of pregnancy ultrasound examination may not show anything. Urine and blood pregnancy test may remain positive for few days after an abortion or miscarriage. A pregnancy test will remain positive after an abortion for sometimes at least 7-13 weeks. This is because the hcg level of a woman will slowly decrease .It is best to contact  a gynecologist before taking any pills like  birth control or abortion pill. Keep me posted.
Take care and regards!
