Help please! Pink blood- IUD- 3 months

Hi, I had a copper IUD inserted just over 3 months ago, and have been bleeding non stop since. Now the blood has gone a weird pink colour, it's not brown at all, it's fresh, pinky blood. Confused :( Has anyone else experienced this? Help! x

Oh :( Mine's just an ongoing thing, not that heavy, but it gets boring after a while and a bit gross. It's frustrating how little actual medical information there is about it online. x

Hmm, well that's depressing.  Thanks, it's not red or brown though, it's pink  :S Perhaps not worth the pain and hassle.. shame. x

Bleeding from the Copper IUD is a normal side-effect. My sister had it in for 10 months and bled every day until she had it removed. Brown blood is "old" blood, but red blood is fresher blood, so it's completely normal.

I wish you the best of luck. I hated my IUD.
