NEVER AGAIN FOR ME. Mirena caused my endometriosis and gave me cysts so big they wanted to remove an ovary! I have two hernias that developed after mirena, coincidence or not idk and I dont care. I bled a straight 9 months after they put it in and almost required a transfusion. Once I demanded it be taken out (my doctor tried to tell me I couldnt make that choice), I bled another 2 1/2 months. I was always cramping, could feel it moving and poking me. If it moves too much one day I was extra hormonal. The blood clots i had to pass with it were soooo horrible. Theres a reason theres a lawsuit against mirena beyaz and ocella. Ill never use an intrauterine contraceptive bc there's just NOT enough time tested proof of the side effects yet. Im sticking with pills, accidentally pregnancy is WAAAY more worth the risk than anything I went through with mirena. Btw I do not react to most medicines, have NO known medical allergies, and have a pretty B.A. immunity system and pain tolerance. Usually I would say this is just MY experience.. but there IS a lawsuit for women who have had these problems for a reason.
