Missing Period or Pregnancy?

I was on Lo Loestrin Fe for 10 months, and had to stop for 6 weeks because I had surgery and was required to take blood thinners. I got back on my birth control, and ended up not having a period at all. Usually I have light bleeding for 2 days on my pills, and I'm concerned I could be pregnant. My partner and I used condoms while I was off the pill, but I know accidents happen. So I want to know whether I just missed a period due to my pills, or whether I should buy a pregnancy test just in case.

Thank you! I figured the same thing. My period is irregular to begin with, so stopping and restarting probably doesn't help.

Starting and stopping and restarting your birth control can throw things off with your cycle.
