Plan B 2 Hours After Unprotected Sex

My fiance and I had unprotected sex, and in the heat of things I ended up ejaculating inside. Although we know we will be together, we are not ready to have a child, and so we decided to go with Plan B, and she took the pill about 2 hours after our incident. How likely is it for her to get pregnant? Please share you experiences with Plan B! Thank you in advance.

She is now fine now, so there is no need to worry any more.

Wishing you the best for the future together.

thank you for your reply!
She took the pill monday, and had bloating on Monday and Thursday and cramps Tuesday/Thursday. Yesterday(friday) she just had slight nausea, and that's about it. Today, no symptoms.

Some people may experience side effects with taking this medication.
I presume that as you have written and are concerned, the cramps and bloating are severe.

I have copied and pasted the link below so that you can read all the side effects of taking this drug.  Read through the section that explains with regard to symptoms that should be reported to your doctor.

As it is the weekend now and she is in having the cramps and bloating and given the fact that it has been 3 days since your fiancé took the medication, I suggest you take her to the ER room for advice.

Let me know how she gets on.

Jemma,

Are cramps and bloating a normal part of taking Plan B?

Sorry, I never knew the name of the pill the doctor prescribes.
I have looked on the web and now know that Plan B One Step is the medication that is used as an emergency contraception.

Because your partner took the medication well within the time limit, it should work.

Best wishes

She took Plan B One Step, which is sold over-the-counter at CVS for $50. It contains 1.5mg of Levonorgestrel.

It depends which pill she took.

What you should have done, was to see the doctor urgently for a prescription for the correct pill that has to be taken within 72 days of having had sex.

If it is still within the time frame, then get her to book an urgent appointment to see the doctor to get the right pill.
