Plan b

I took plan b Feb.14th, finished with second pill on Feb 15th (total of 26 hours after sex) Then Feb.23rd had bleeding with some clots, the bleeding was like a period. Was that in fact my period? Then just to make sure I took a pregnancy test March 20th and it came back negative. Although before that my husband surprised me by telling me he wanted to try for a baby, so we started trying March 8-March 20th. I took a test March 20th like I said before and it was negative, then one March 26th negative also, then March 28th and it was positive. So I guess I'm asking if anyone thinks I got pregnant Feb 14th ( the incident we had and I took plan b) or when we were actually trying? Any help would be appreciated. I also spotted for like a half of an hour for one day 5 days after the positive pregnancy test. What could that have been?

idk it all depends stop guessing. when you conceieved is not a big deal. if you have been with only your husband when you conceived is not an issue. your doctor will help you figure it out. anything other than that....is a guess.

your talking about a like 12 day gap of when you "conceieved" you usually have to wait 2 weeks from ovulation to get a postive pregnancy test cuz thats about when you would expect a period.

No definitely did not have sex with anyone else, I just was wondering because I had the heavy bleeding after taking the pill(bright red blood, with clots for about 5 days) and the negative preg. tests. I just didn't know if I was in fact pregnant around the time I took the pill. If that was the case I would be afraid of losing the baby with all the blood I lost. I got 3 negative preg. tests. weeks after taking the pill and bleeding so I guess I'm pretty sure I got pregnant in March, cause the positive test was the end of March. Is it possible to get a positive pregnancy test March 28th if I conceived between March 8-March20th. Thanks for all your help

look at the instructions. yes bledding can be a sign.

your guessing. when you go to the doctors they will give you a due date. wait.

i still dont understand why when you got pregnant is what your trying to figure out and why its important that the pill worked and you got pregnant in march instead of feb.unless you had sex with someone else in feb.. either way you have to wait and arent going to be able to figure it out until you first ultrasound as to about when you got pregnant. they will give you a due date and if you want...as them as to when you conceived. women have taken plan b. had it fail. and have went on to have healthy babies. if you got pregnant in feb...i dont think any harm was done to your child

Thank you for your response. Although I haven't been to the doctor yet, my first appointment isn't for another couple weeks, so I'm really not sure of my due date. I'm just wondering if the bleeding a week after the plan b pill was in fact my last period. Does anybody out there know if that would be the case or was it just a side effect of it, and if it was, is that a sign that the pill worked. The bleeding was a week after taking the pill and it lasted 5 days, it was bright red in color and there was some clots. Then I took a pregnancy test 34 days after taking the plan b pill and it was negative. So I just wanted to be sure that the pill worked and I in fact got pregnant this time in March instead of Feb. Just trying to figure how far along I am.

i dont think it matters when you got pregnant..if it was before plan b or not. it doesnt effect the baby. if the egg is fertilized....nothing would happen.

take your due date...and then figure it out
