Planning for a baby only in the future.

We are getting married soon, and only want to start with a family 3 years from now. What is the best way to do this? Everyone talks about the Depo Provera, but what is the side effects and would this by any chance bring problems in the near future when we want to concieve a baby?

I've heard it takes awhile to get pregnant after quitting depo provera.  Sometimes over a year.  Maybe I'm a bit old fashioned and cautious,  but I would suggest taking the pill.  Gl.

But I am sure that the pill also isnt 100% safe? I know my sister got pregnant while using it. My biggest fear is to use something and we later struggle to conceive. But when would you suggest is the best time to start with the pill then?
