Why have I had a period whilst taking the pill?
So I took the pill for three weeks, and then had a week without taking them in order to have my period like the doctor advised. I had my period in this 4th week then continued to take the Pill after it had finished. The day I retook the pill was on a Wednesday, then on the following Monday I had another period. I don't know why I've had another period so I was wondering if anyone can help with this issue.
Also, throughout this time period of Wednesday to Monday I've had unprotected sex a few times with my boyfriend finishing inside of me, is there a chance of becoming pregnant? Has the pill not been effective?
I'm 19 if that information is of any use.
