um yes it could be emdometrisis but also could be PID (pelvic immflamatory disease)  had it twice and was having the same problem. Do you have a odor at all or even maybe som discharge? I just got surgery done to see if I had endometriosis and the doctor ended up having to remove a bunch of scar tissue that was all over my liver, intetsin, kidney, ovariers, everywhere, and my tubes were completely closed i cant have kids anymore all because the doctor i had 2 years ago didnt check me when i had the PID both times..so this new doctor im goin to found all this and said that was the cause. but it could be a number of things i also had hemridged cysts on my ovaries that caused bleeding after intercourse and pain but like week later i started bleedin huge clots but that was from the cysts. but many doctors will automaticaly tell you it may be endometriosis and you need to be checked for it...its just a little surgery they do..if so let them..because they dont only check for that tey check everything to find the problem and fix it thats how i found out what was wrong with me and they put you to sleep so you dont feel a thing and you get to leave te same day. But you also mentioned your on birthcontrol i never was on IUD but im on the nuvaring and it hurts when the guy hits the nuvaring but i dont have any blood...those re just some things you could ask your gyn to check you for...let me know what it is im interested and hope you get better!..Jennifer
