I've also heard questionable things about the depo. Some people have nonstop bleeding, no bleeding at all, nonstop spotting, severe weight gain... The list goes on. Keep in mind that, unlike Implanon or nearly any other form of birth control, you're stuck with it til it is out of your system (I think a shot is every few months). With the pill, patch, or Nuva Ring, you can stop. The Implanon, Mirena, etc., you can have removed.

You say you are in a committed relationship. That's great. However, unless you want to become pregnant, I would suggest that your boyfriend use a
condom. Condoms protect both of you from STDs ( sexually transmitted
diseases) . Good luck finding a form of contraceptive which will agree with

I have no idea... this forum is for already pregnant woman.. I'm not sure if you're trying to conceive or not.. but you need to ask the Dr that gives you these meds they will know better.
