pills or pregnancy

I just started taking birth control pills for the first time.  I have about 5 pill left untill i'm supossed to get my period.  My question is I have been having some spotting (browish color) for the last few days, my breasts were sore for a couple days but now there not. Is this a normal thing to happen or could I be pregnant.  I'm 20 years old and im on the ortho tri-cylene lo pills!
Any advice would be great!
Thanks

I was once on those and I would have symptoms of my cycle coming that were close to yours. Because pregnancy symptoms are so similar to those of a period its sometimes hard to differentiate between the two. If you've had brown spotting it sounds like its your aunt flow coming for a visit love and if it stops and nothing after that happens for a few days then maybe you should take a pregnancy test.
