Hi!
If blood traces come only when she is hungry, then it could be due to a bad reflux, which brings up brownish blood from a bleeding ulcer in stomach. Usually, proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole, and antacid gels help. Apart from this,  oily spicy food, fizzy drinks and alcohol and need to be avoided, and small frequent meals taken.
Smoking, alcohol use, gastritis, acidity, tumors of stomach and food pipe, bleeding gastric ulcer, cancer of stomach, erosion of lining of food pipe, bleeding veins at esophageal (food pipe) sphincters etc all cause blood in saliva. This can be fresh red if coming from a place above the stomach. It can be brown or coffee colored if coming from the stomach.  Tumors/cancers of the oral cavity or mouth, pyorrhea or pus in gums and Vitamin C deficiency can cause bleeding from mouth.
Do discuss this with your aunt's doctor and get her examined. Take care!

my aunt just told that she had also blood traces in saliva when she was having chemotherapy. After the synptom of having blood traces in saliva when not eaten anything , she then had blood traces at the time when she was so late to sleep or take shower..then now , she will have blood traces in her saliva the whole day except morning if she have once splited blood traces at anytime of the day, but it doesnt happen everyday .. for your info ,  Her blood traces are always brown colour ,she always smell unpleasant smell of blood in her mouth after she split blood traces, she is not exercising recently , some lymph(i am not sure , i just know there is something from the lymphatic system which will transport cancer to other place) is from her arm and she is intaking chinese herbal medicine. And she also asked me whether it's possible that the blood traces come from hurting of her throat? cause she always make the sound of "kok" to force her saliva out from somewhere(i'm not sure from where) What is your suggestion then? Thank you
