Can butane gas abuse lead to aphasia

Four years ago When I was a teenager I was addicted to butane gas and I was a daily user for about 6 months. Since then I've noticed a change in my speech and vocabulary (stuttering, forgetting words, struggling to put together sentences) I was wondering if my addiction may have done some neurological damage to my brain causing  Aphasia
