Had radiation therapy to my temple for a squamous cancer that had moved into the nerves about 9 months ago. Now I'm suffering from deafness in the ear opposite from side where radiation was applied. Also having numbness on face, headaches in morning. This all started about 3 months ago when I had a sickly sweet smell in my nose. It eventually turned into a smoky smell. Now I'm having problems with nausea, especially when I smell fried food or most food when it is being cooked. Have had a few dizzy spells. Constant ringing in my ears. Just generally miserable. Went to see an ENT who said my sinuses and ears were clear. He referred me to a Neurologist and suggested I have an MRI, balance tests and vision tests. My question is, are these symptoms of a tumor or something? I really don't know how I should be feeling about all this. I just feel weird.
