White matter lesions, if you search here, are noted a lot. They can cover so much from migraines all the way up to MS. It is not a very specific finding so you may need more testing.

The benign basal ganglia perivascular spaces  - I found this (take with a grain of salt, this is just internet searching, not diagnosing you):
"Perivascular spaces, also known as Virchow-Robin spaces, are pial-lined interstitial fluid-filled spaces surrounding perforating vessels. They do not have a direct connection to the subarachnoid space, and indeed the fluid within them is slightly different. They typically are less than 5mm in diameter, but can reach much larger sizes, so-called giant perivascular space or tumefactive perivascular space, and can exert enough mass effect to be symptomatic.

Most commonly they are located in the lower half of the basal ganglia especially along the line of the anterior commisure. They are also found in the midbrain, deep white matter, extreme capsule… pretty much everywhere…

They are usually idiopathic, although they are seen in greater frequency in Hunter disease, Hurler disease and some muscular dystrophies."

The last about your sinus is that you may have a slight sinus inflammation.

Let us know what the doctor says. Hope this one does not comment on just the color and size of your lesions... sheez...

Yes You were correct on the copy of the report... Once I read it it doesnt seem so bad really ??? .. It isnt black (thank god ) it is a solitary right posterior corona radiata white matter lesion ( whatever that means... It really is so unclear to me.) The report also mentions a benign basal ganglia perivascular spaces??? and I have mild ethmoid sinus inflammation as well   It states spmething about a solitary punciate high t2 flair signal lesion ??? ... My estrogin levels are pretty low as well and a bone marrow biopsy 2 yrs ago showed hypercellur activity with a reactive process......... I think that it would be best to see what a neuro doctor will tell me... I am not so sure when that will be.. I do see a doctor tomorrow but not a neorospecialist.
Thanks Tania

Until you have a copy of the report, and until you have more details, there is no way to know what a "mass" means.

Please make an appointment with a neurologist as soon as possible, as well make sure you get a copy of the films and report. I would take someone with you to the appointment as you say you have confusion so that person can take notes for you to research later.
