Pituatary Tumor - says I could have one of 3

Ok 15 years ago I was told I had a pituatary tumor and it was not very big maybe 4 mm. I am not sure what it is now, but now they say it could be something else.  The latest CT Scan now says (and I have had many over the years): There is a small precontrast T1 hyperintensity in the right tuber cinereum.  It does nto enhance. Differential diagnostic considerations include lipoma, dermoid or proteinaceous Ratheke's Cleft Cyst.  Now it is saying also on there:

(of course it says different size - they all differ on different tests): 2 - 3 mm mass in the right tuber cinereum is bright on all sequences. Differential diagnosis as above. If clinically indicated, further evaluation with an MRI of the brain with pituitary protocol and comparison to prior outside exams is recommended.

So what does this mean? See I have all kinds of symptoms that are consistant with my Chiari Type 1 malformation and my cerebellar ptosis. However, could some of my many symptoms (my 3 or 4 different types of headaches (including the one I get behind my eye), be apart of this, meaning could I have symptoms? Should I ask the neurosurgeon if we should check more into this area or not? or should I just go ahead and get my cerebellar ptosis and my tight cord fixed first? Any advice from a doctor would be appreciated.

Thanks so much ahead of time. I just worry that if a cyst instead of tumor that it could rupture sometime.

Dear Xmelax35

Well, a lesion that is bright in all sequences in that area is more likely a benign Rathke Cleft Cyst. Lipomas and dermoids tend to be dark in T2 because of the fat component.
Rathke Cleft Cysts can be generators of headaches as well.
I can review your films free of charge if you want.
Thank you
