Bump on breast

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?  This started as a large (2 inches long) red surface on my breast and looked like it had a small white center.  This was last Saturday (10 days ago).  I have already been to the doctor and nothing was found - they even did an ultrasound and found nothing.  Since the ultrasound though, the mark has changed drastically.  The large red spot is gone and is replaced with what you see in the picture.  I'm still very concerned about this.

To note - this is my right breast.  At the same time, I did have a confirmed infection in my left breast, which actually required a surgical procedure to remove.  The timing just seems very odd to me.

Hi,
It is hard to tell at this point if this is just an infection or something more serious.
I understand your concern, but we cannot be really sure until further evaluation is done.
I would suggest that you have this open sore examined by a Dermatologist or preferably a Breast surgeon and see what his/her opinion is.
This could be an infection. Anything that can happen on regular skin can happen on the skin of the breast.
I hope there is nothing there to worry about, but to be on the safe side it's best to let one of the physicians I mentioned above, figure it all out.
Best wishes…
