tHERE IS A FAIRLY NEW BLOOD TEST, TO DETECT THE NUMBER OF CIRCULATING TUMOR CELLS (CTC)
IN THE BLOODSTREAM,DOCTORS CAN GAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE PATIENT'S PROGNOSIS
WHICH CAN BE USED TO GUIDE TREATMENT DECISIONS. DOES ANYBODY KNOWS , IF THIS IS BEING DONE
HERE, IN THE STATES?. I UNDERSTAND IT HAS TO BE SENT TO GERMANY.
PLEASE ADVISE!, GREETINGS FOR ALL THE LADIES IN THE FORUM ,WHO , WERE A GREAT HELP,DURING
MY DIAGNOSIS AND SURGERY. MY LAST CHECK UP WAS FINE, AND I FEEL REAL GOOD.

Ali,Thank you so much for the compliment! Yes, thank God you don't have metastasis..I do remember your case and the kind of Radiation you had....5 days and you were done! how wonderful!.As for me,I am doing quite well and I hope to continue that way..

Hi BB: How are you ? I will do all in my power to fight this illness. and to help this community and the patients ,I met during my treatments. I will find out where CTC TEST is done, and get it.I am also research Gc Maf (Gc Macrophage Activating Factor) It is being tested and it is incorporated into the patient's regimen to provide additional inmune support.
there is an excellent article in the March issue of Life Extension Magazine. Gc Maf are injections ,for Breast and prostate  cancer.

Hi Zouzi: you are an angel. I really value your help.I do not have metastasis, but I will be on top of it. I did have RADIATION,Brachyterapy for five days, twice a day, It was fast an easy
My Onco said, it was the best choice to avoid CAPSULAR CONTRACTION in my breast.

I have heard and read a little bit about CTC and I think that it has been clinically tried in the USA for many types of metastatic cancers.
