Finally hear and scared to death

Well after waiting almost 3 weeks my Biopsy day is here -  I am having a Mammographically guided core Biopsy taking 6 samples  at midday today. I feel sick with fear... I am not bothered by needles as in injections and blood tests but somehow the thought of this biopsy and having 6 cutting needles used jsut scares me stiff!

I will get the results and have the new lump under my other arm examined properly on the 24th...

Waiting waiting waiting-  drives me crazy -  I am an organiser and a doer and it makes it hard when the next step of everything is in someone elses hands.....

I am so glad that it is over for you now, the biopsy anyway.  I know too that the waiting is the hardest part!  Hang in there, I am praying for you.  I hope all is ok with your son also.  You are in my thoughts....

That's good to hear! Ultrasound guided biopsies are a lot less painful than mammogram guided ones.  It's just 2 weeks before the results are out, so keep yourself busy to lessen the anxiety of waiting. Will be keeping you in my prayers.

Thanks -  it really was not as bad as I was anticipating -  just glad it is over and done with... now the anxiety pre results can kick in as Im sure it will.

Ha Ha HA thats funny about the HEAR-HERE -

Well tonight I have to study... but I will not be doing anything heavy -  I am quite sore and conscious of the biopsy site.

Looks like you are not the only one who spelt HERE incorrectly, so did I, it must be contagious!  I really should read back over my posts before I send, because I end up with so many typo's and spelling errors.  Still, we all understand the posts. We are here to support each other and not be grammatically correct. Crack open a bottle of wine tonight and put your feet up.  It has been a long day and I'm sure you probably have not been sleeping well for nights now.

So it's finally over, what a relief for you.  It was great that it was not as made as expected and that they also took a look at the lump under your arms.

I know it is a wait to 24th June, but it will be hear before you know it.  Hopefully it will all end well.

Well The biopsy was not as bad as I was expecting-  they chose to do an Ultrasound guided biopsy instead of the Mammoguided one and only took 2 samples not the 6 I was expecting -  so the procedure took 25 minutes and not 1 hour. Also they had a look at teh lump under my right arm and he thinks it is just a fatty deposit and nothing to worry aout at all.....

So now I feel a lot calmer and have to jsut wait till the 24th for the results.

i hope everythink will be ok
my mum went to docotors cuz her breast were bleeding and the doctor found a lump beside her nipple  they said it might be a infection but better to be sure my mum has appomient next week to see if everythink is ok
but u take care of ur self
