Hormone receptor test results

I had a lumpectomy  on August 13, I'm going for chemo next week. I'm ER-, PR+ and HER2-, what can you tell me about it? What kind of chemo will I have to do, based on those results? The nurse mentioned that the PR+ was "weak"...what does it mean?

Hi, Jacque,
I hope you have an oncologist planning your chemo and you should definitely consult with him/her regarding the protocol. You should know exactly what you're getting, when and for how long, what it's expected to do and any common side effects. I'm a firm believer in " the more knowledge, the better" and think that it's important to be an aware patient, not just a passive recipient of treatment. Please contact your doctor and ask all the questions you need to to feel confident in your treatment.
Please try to stay positive as you travel down this road. I wish you all the best and hope you have a good outcome with your treatment.
Sending you a big hug (   ),
