LUMP UNDER ARM, BREST LUMP, EXTREME PAIN IN RIGHT ARM

I FOUND A SMALL LUMP IN MY RIGHT BREAST A FEW WEEKS AGO.  I HAVE ALSO FOR SOMETIME BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE LUMP NODES UNDER MY RIGHT ARM BEING SWOLLEN.  THEY DON'T SEEM TO GO DOWN ALL THE WAY.  I HAD A HYSTERECTOMY IN 93 DUE TO CERVICAL CANCER AND  1 OVARIE REMOVED IN 2000 DUE TO PRE-CANCER CYST.  MY RIGHT ARM WILL HURT SO BAD AT TIMES THAT I CAN'T HARDLY MOVE IT, OR SLEEP AT NIGHT.  DO YOU THINK IT COULD BE BREST CANCER, OR CANCER OF THE LUMP NODES?  THANKS

This discussion is related to limp in arm pit??.

I HAVE NOT HAD ANY BLEDDING OR OOZING, I HAVE BEEN REALLY TIRED.  THE LUMPS HAVE STAYED THE SAME SIZE.  I HAVEN'T NOTICED AND INCREASE IN THE AMOUNT OF LUMPS.  MY SKIN HAS BECOME REALLY DRY, EVEN BEEN I RUB DOEN IN BABY OIL IT DOESN'T HELP AT ALL.  ABOUT A MONTH OR SO AGO I DID HAVE A RASH AROUND MY NIPPLE.  THE  CERVIAL CANCER WAS A STAGE 1 ( best i recall).  THE CERVIAL CANCER IS NOW GONE.

I WENT TO VIST THE FAMILY DOCTOR WEDNESDAY.  HE SAID HE DIDN'T REALLY FEEL ANYTHING OUT OF THE NORM.  HOWEVER HE SAID THE LEFT NIPPLE WAS ENVERTED SOME WHAT.  I HAVE TO HAVE A MAMOGRAM ON MONDAY.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR ADVISE.

Hi,

Have you noticed any other signs other than the lumps, like bleeding or oozing? Has the size and number of the lumps increased or decreased or remain the same? Have you noticed any other changes in the skin around the breast? Have you had any other infections in the affected areas as well as the chest or abdomen during this time?

It is also important to understand the status of the cervical cancer at this point of time to correctly pinpoint the real cause of these swellings. A visit to your oncologist or physician would be the best advisable thing at this time. He may recommend some antibiotics to allow the nodes to recover. He may also conduct some tests in order to reach the diagnoses.

Please let us know if you have any other queries and also keep us updated on what the doctor advises and on your health.

Good luck.
