Pain behind breast

In Jan. 2007 I found a lump on my right breast which disappeared within 2 weeks.  From that time I have had pain.  I don't know if the lump was just a coincedence.  The pain started coming off and on and then pretty much constant.  There is no pain at all by touch.  The point of pain seems to come from behind my right breast and sometimes the pain is so great it radiates up into my collarbone and down my right arm.  It doesn't feel like a pulled muscle, it is hard to describe.  I have bad weeks where I am weak and tired the whole time and sometimes the pain is worse.   I have been in pain for over a year now and getting tired of it! In October 2006 I finally went to the doctor.  Most recently he has done an ultrasound and blood work.  All seems fine.  I just had a chest x-ray and am scheduled for a CAT Scan.  Hopefully these will tell us something.  Any ideas or comments would be helpful.  Thanks

Hi.
How old are you?
Maybe you should start breast cancer screening procedures like self-breast examination and mammography.
Breast pain is a nonspecific symptom.  Additional tests should be done in order to rule out breast cancer.
Please do post the result of your CT Scan.
Good luck.
