Query

I have a boil in my sternal area(Right between the two breasts). I've been noticing it since a month or so. I'm 19 and I do have two three boils on my face too..so probably this boil between the two breasts could be due to the hormonal imbalance that I'm going through. Also I do indulge in a lot of junk without any exercise and all the toxins then come out in the form of boils. But since my paternal aunt(dads sister) just got diagnosed with breast cancer I didn't want to take a chance so I want to know what exactly this could be. A lump or just a normal heat boil. If I press it will pain very slightly like any other boil. And it's red. Usually boils just burst and disappear . This hasn't for a while now. And once it did. There was slight discharge of pus but then it came back again.
Please help me and if possible guide me further.

I don't think it is,but if it doesn't get better you should let your Doctor take a look at it.Don't forget that medication could be needed if the area is red and painful.okay?
Take care...

Thankyou so much. So I need not bother about it being a breast problem right?
Thanks again.

Hi,
I don’t think this is a breast problem, but most probably a skin disorder.
Boils/abscesses can form anywhere on the body. Consumption of greasy fast food and lifestyle are major causes of boils development .
Apply warm, moist compresses several times a day to help the boil open and drain. After it starts draining, keep it clean, and continue using warm compresses and antibiotic cream.Change the bandage often and wash your hands very well.
Avoid the urge to squeeze or pop the boil, because it can make the infection worse. If it doesn’t go away fairly soon, the boil in your sternum should be lanced and drained by your Doctor or a Dermatologist, who might also order oral antibiotics to help resolve this condition.
Best wishes…
