Memogram result

I got a memogram result that says: "moderate amount of fibroglandulat tissue 12mm nodule in the right outer breast. The pt will be recalled for additional views". I found out that the wait is no less than 8 month....what should I do???what does this result mean?. I have history of Melanoma.

Thank you so much. I am from Montreal Quebec, and was able to schedule an appointment with my Oncologist next week. I was shocked to hear of the wait, epically when we all know that early detection is the key...
I will do whatever it takes.

I don't know where you reside but an 8 month wait for a recall is ridiculous. I would get in touch with my prescribing Physician and see if he/she can make an appointment. I've never heard of this type of wait for additional views. You need to make as many calls as it takes to shorten the wait time to no more than a month. Fibroglandular tissue is nothing of concern but the nodule needs to be diagnosed.  Regards ....
