You may want to call the doctor who prescribed the femara and tell him, or the nurse, that you are very anxious about this and want/need to know what in his opinion will happen in the form of further treatment?

Radiation is only started after your wounds are completely healed and that may well be the next step.

I would call, and whatever you are told may help you feel less anxious. All the best, kat

It's really hard to speculate over the internet about your upcoming treatment. This is something that will have to be decided by your Oncologist after he/she reviews all your medical records. Many factors will need to be considered before formulating a treatment plan that would best serve you at this point. Radiation would no doubt be part of the treatment; Chemotherapy I'm not sure about as your age may be one of the deciding factors here. What you should do is concentrate on your recovery from surgery and follow the recommendations of your Oncologist. Regards ....
