abdomen pain

My question is this........I am putting weight on at a very fast past.  My abdomen had actually gotten to looking like i was 8 months pregnant.  I started out weight 120 at 5'4 and I am currently up to 151.  I have been to doctors, had CT'S of the abdomen, pelvis and kidneys, chest xrays and lab tests.  everythink on thoses test came back normal except that I had 1+ blood in my urine.  The area that is huring me the worst is the heaviness of my right breast hanging down and hurting under my right rib cage which is making me to get out of breath easily.  I am a registered Nurse at a Major Hopsital in Fort Worth Texas and we (my work partners) and I cannot figure out what kind of doctor to go to next, because something is definently not write.  Any response would be appreciated.

Hi,

It would be best to consult an endocrinologist and get a hormonal levels check and also thyroid function tests done.

You also need to also consult a breast specialist for the breast symptoms. A mammogram would be required to be done.

Do let us know what the reports say and what the specialists advise.

Let us know if you have any doubts.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.

If you are sure from the CT scan that the increased girth is not due to ascites -- fluid in the abdomen -- which would raise concern for ovarian cancer, I would try an endocrinologist and a breast specialist.
