alternative or not!!!! core biopsy suggested

I have a lump in my left breast , started out a three years ago the size of peanut , had altrasound done and it measures 3.6 x 2.1x 3.3  cm,  I am very nervous , as I usually do alternative when ever I can , I am 54 and  just starting menopause , I have read where these  can appear and then reach a certain size and  never get any bigger is this true???? it is stated on the ultrasound report as""" a large lobulated hypoechoic mass at 12 oclock Some microlobulation and spiculation not excluded  non dependently although area of marcrolobulation and increased through transmission are also noted  """ then it also says!!! no other abnormalities !!! and under inpression it says finding  suspicious for left breast malignancy , ultrasound guided core biopsy is recommended .... I am confussed and worried , if I go with the core biopsy will any of these cell if cancer spread  through blood and   and cells by opening into the breast .need some input thanks sharon

Rather than worrying about the various medical terminology that has been used in your report I would advise you to have the recommended biopsy ASAP!!! Why there has been a 3 year delay in having the Ultrasound is beyond me. The issue of spreading cancer cells via biopsy isn't of any concern; a biopsy is the only way to determine if this finding is malignant or benign and I urge you to proceed immediately with yours. Regardles if the lump remains stable or continues to grow .... cancer kills no matter what it's size if left undiagnosed and untreated. There are NO proven alternative methods of treatment for cancer so please follow the recommendation of your Dr.s ...... Regards.
