breast appearance after duct excision

I had an excision of 2 ducts due to bloody nipple discharge a month and a half ago. The pathology report was benighn (fibrocystic changes). Since the surgery I have two issues with my breast - my nipple is inverted and also there is a very hard nodule half way around my nipple (this is where the cut was made). Will this hardness go away or will it alwasy remain there? Is there anything I can do for inverted nipple?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

Thank you very much for your answer. I will check with my surgeon. After surgery I did not really care much about the appearance - the only thing that was important is pathology report of course...

This may be scar tissue and the inverted nipple may be due to scarring also. You might ck. with your Surgeon and see if he/she has any recommendation as to what might be done to correct this problem. In time these problems may lessen somewhat ... it's rather early to know the final result as far as appearance is concerned.  Regards ....
