breast discharge

Why would I still be having nipple discharge twelve years after my last child was born ?

Thank you so much for your response. I go to see a Gyno next week. I have ask Drs. through the years about it but they didn't seem concerned. It is coming from both nipples even without being spueezed .You have really eased my mind and worries. Thank you so much. Kay71

Breast discharge is not uncommon,it can happen especially if a woman takes birth control pills, during perimenopause and also if taking medication for depression etc..Is the discharge coming from both nipples and only when squeezed? If so, I don't think that you should worry much about it.If, on the other hand the discharge comes spontaneous (without squeezing) and from one nipple only, there is some concern and you should have this checked out by your doctor.Take care,
