Itch on the breast possible IBC?

Hi, my mom first had this itch under her left breast which we treated with typical itch cream. She said it stopped itching. Then last night, she complained about pains in her breast. Then this morning, her whole breast is itching again and there seems to be a little insect bite on the side and the pores seemed to be more obvious with little hairs poking out. I read about IBC and it scares me coz i don't know if her skin is already showing the orange peel symptom? She said there were no lumps when she self-examined. She’s 53y/o and is in menopausal stage.

I'll be really grateful for all the advise. Thank you!

The best advice I could give you to pass along to your Mom is to see her Dr as soon as she can so that he/she can examine the area. Since she had the same  problem before it may likely be some type of allergic response. Whatever this is it needs to be "seen" so that treatment can begin as soon as possible. In the meantime she should resist the urge to scratch as this will only further irritate the area and make things worse. If she doesn't get any satisfaction then perhaps she should see a Dermatologist regarding the problem.   Kindest regards ....
