Hi,
Just want to suggest that you add your posts to your original thread, instead of starting separate threads each time, UNLESS the new one is on a different topic.
That way, you won't have to repeat all the information each time, the previous answer(s) can be seen, and anyone reading the thread will have the whole story.
Best wishes...
hi! so sorry! i thought i saw where someone suggested a new post when new info is obtained. i really apologize, i am new to all of this and i appreciate the advice!
No need to apologize; we are glad to hear back from people any way they choose to do it!
I just wanted to let you know it tends to be easier for everyone when related posts are in one thread.
Don't know if you've noticed, but one recent thread now has about 23 posts! Kind of like a conversation, with lots of people joining in. :-)
I hope your next round of tests goes well. Keep us posted. We'll be here for you at every step in the process.
Regards,
bluebutterfly
thanks for your advice and kind words. i'll certainly keep you posted.
probably being overly cautious but after reading a bunch of other posts it makes me angry that i did not press for a biopsy six months ago.
very comforting to know that people care.
wow. had mammograms/ultrasounds/biopsies and cyst removal yesterday. i must have been quite lucky b/c it really wasnt painful at all. i was amazed. however, the numbing stuff has worn off and the area is quite sore now....but still, for all they did.....
i had a vacuum assisted biopsy in three spots and a core biopsy in another spot. i watched the whole thing on the ultrasound machine, quite interesting. then, they removed a cyst. put in titanium clips in the biopsy sites, so they can know exactly where the trouble spots were. supposed to get some results back this afternoon and more later this week.
either way, i feel like i'm in good hands. i had my procedure at the Charleston Breast Center in charleston, sc. for a "not so fun procedure", they sure made it a pleasant one. the people were unbelievably caring, fun and thoroughly explained every single little thing. i'm really hopeful that things will turn out well but even if it's worst case scenario, i have serious faith in my doctors (and God) - quite comforting.
