do ibc spots come and go

A couple days ago after a shower, I noticed a spot and splotch on my left breast that was flushed in color. The color disappeared after awhile, but comes and goes. If I lay down, or take a bath which alleviates the weight of my breast they disappear. My breasts are large and have become saggy after 2 years of breast feeding. At times I can't even see the spots, but I can at others. They are not raised and do not itch. Would ibc spots come and go?

Thanks, I will keep an eye on it.  I have an appt. next week with my ob/gyn about my hormones and perimenopause already, and will address it with him.

Hi,
From what you describe,I doubt that the red spots on your breast have anything to do with IBC.
Inflammatory breast cancer is a very rare type of cancer that would present with rapid, unusual increase in breast size, redness, rash, persistent itching of breast or nipple, lump or thickening of breast tissue, stabbing pain and/or soreness of breast, feverish breast swelling of lymph nodes under the arm or above the collarbone, dimpling or nipple retraction.
The skin of the breast may also show the pitted appearance called "peau d'orange" (similar to the skin of an orange).
I don't think you have a breast problem, but there's only so much we can tell you over the internet.
From what you describe it sounds like it could be hormonal, infection or maybe just a skin problem. If the red spots reappear,or do not go away completely, you might want to have these red spots looked at by a health care professional or a dermatologist for proper evaluation and management.
Best wishes..
