fibrocystic change with sclerosing adenosis

I am 40 y.o asian. I had breast ultrasound last Aug 19,2008.
And had a lumpectomy last Aug 23,2008.
My biopsy result says "FIBROCYSTIC CHANGE WITH SCLEROSING ADENOSIS".
Gross/Microscopic Descriptions:
The specimen consists of a roughly ovoid gray brown rubbery mass
measuring 2 x 1.5 x 1cm.  Sections show cream lobulated cut surface.
Entire specimen taken for study.

Microsections disclose breast tissue containing numerous dilated ducts.
Focal areas of sclerosing adenosis is also observed.

What does it mean?
What should I do?
What are my risks?
What are my chances?

Thank you very much.
God bless.

Hi!
While I am not a doctor and can only interpret your biopsy results from a lay person's perspective, fibrocystic changes with sclerosing adenosis would seem to be a benign result and not anything to worry about.
You stated that you had an ultrasound on Aug 19th of 2008 and a lumpectomy on
Aug 23 of 2008.  Were the biopsy results from your lumpectomy??  Seems a bit odd to go from an ultrasound to a lumpectomy without a core biopsy in between.
Could you clarify your situation and perhaps one of the doctors could assist you in interpreting the results.
I know that not having definite information tends to make every situation very scary, but try and relax and wait until a clear diagnosis is given.
(Just curious -- did you get these results and not have the radiologist or your doctor available to interpret the findings for you?  You can not be expected to understand the medical terminology and should not read any bad things into this report unless your doctor determines further evaluation/treatment is needed.
Best wishes ---
