Lost eyebrows during chemo, grew back, now I am losing eyebrows again.

Has any chemo patient had this happen?  My last chemo session was in November 2009.   I lost all hair on my body.  Now it's April 2010, and my head hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows have grown back.  But I have noticed in the last week (April 5 - 9) that my eyebrows and eyelashes are thinning again.  My head hair seems OK, no loss there.  If anyone has had their eyebrown and eyelashes fall out again, do they grow back for the second time?   I'd love any and all input people can give me.   This stinks, to have my brows and lashes fall out again.

There was a thread about this, but it was closed.

This discussion is related to hair loss on eyelashes.

I certainly understand!

A loved one of mine is just completing rads this week, after also having a rough time with chemo, and is just beginning to have  hair coming back, which is very exciting!

Warm regards,
bb

Thanks for replying, Bluebutterfly.  That makes me feel better.  I know it's not as serious as the other problems on this forum, but I sure went thru some difficult times with chemo and radiation!  Thanks again.

Welcome to the BC Community, and congratulations on finishing your chemo last November.

This does sometimes happen, with head hair as well as eyelashes and eyebrows.

In the other thread you mentioned, StillScared1952 stated that after her eyelashes and eyebows fell out the second time, they grew back even thicker.

Let's hope trhat is also your experience!

Best wishes...
