You mentioned Birads 0... so most likely not. But with dense breasts you are already 3% more likely to get breast cancer. Stick with digital mammograms as they do better with dense breasts. Be vigilant and always have them ultrasound both breasts. :)
Best wishes
I guess Im wondering if this report sounds like cancer?
If you've got dense breasts, and I did, I got ultrasounds on them with each mammogram. My cancer didn't show on mammogram but did w/ultrasound 1.5 cm and then it showed it's full size of 10 cm w/MRI.
yes I am going back for a special view mammogram and a sonogram if needed.
Opinion ??? but I would certatinly want to follow this to some conclusion as to what it might be since it is a new finding. Surely there was some recommendation as to further investigation included in the final report on the latest mammogram. With dense breast tissue a Breast MRI can often be of help in better defining the suspicious area. You might consider this OR even a biopsy may be recommended if you were referred to a Breast Surgeon following this latest set of films. It could be anything but I'd want to know "what". Regards ....
