prognosis?

I had a sterotatic breast biopsy that showed ADH and suspicious lesions with spiculated edges. I will be having a excisional breast biopsy and sentinel node biopsy next week. Any chance it will be benign? What is recovery like?

The ADH is not really considered as cancer ... the suspicious lesions of course will be decided by the excisional biopsy. Until then there is no way to know the cause of these lesions. A far as recovery ... it shouldn't be much of a problem. A small incision and of course will be sore and uncomfortable for a week or so .... you will be given specific instructions before surgery as each Surgeon usually has his/her own preferences.  Regards .....
