what does this mean?

I had Breast cancer 8 years ago. Just did a mamo and MRI came back as fibroglandular densities
what does that mean?

The main concern with dense breast tissue is that it makes it more difficult to detect problems ... mammograms are not of much value with dense breast tissue; MRI is often needed for accrurate readings. This is one reason that mammograms aren't done in younger women as often and yes, many women do have dense breast tissue. It isn't really fat but tissue made up of fibers.  Regards ....

Thanks, wasn`t sure if this could turn into something later on in life?? Does most people have dense breast? "Dense" does that mean fat?

This just means that your breast tissue is dense. Unless there is an associated lump or nodule, dense breast tissue of nothing to be concerned about.   Regards.....
