For over a year I had odd symptoms. I would get very light headed and chalked it up to low blood sugar and would eat accordingly. I also started get a strange numbing, tingle in my right arm. I chalked that up to a pinched nerve since I'd injured that arm many years ago. I had a feeling in the pit of my stomach, like something bad was gonna happen...impending doom feeling. Many of these symptoms occured around the same time or close together. I was at work on aug 29 of this year and got a really wierd feeling. Said some strange things to my customers...that I thought were normal, what I was thinking, but that's not what came out. I grabbed a coworker and told her to get me outside, something was happening. I started having a seizure and chewed my lip to pieces in the process. An ambulance trip to my local hospital, where they did a ct scan. It showed a mass on the right side of my brain. They sent me to unc chapel hill by ambulance, which I don't remember. Long story short, fairly large for a tumor, over 6 cm, was removed sept 1, day before my birthday! I know have to start radiation and chemo, which I am so dreading. There's a good chance the tumor wil grow back, so it's something I have to be very diligent about for the rest of my life. Please get yourself checked if you haven't already!
Hi.
How are you doing?
From your post, it seems that you are having seizure episodes manifesting as sudden loss of consciousness. There are many causes of seizure; with each age bracket having a corresponding possible cause/s. Brain tumor is just one of them.
I agree with your decision to consult a neurologist. You may need to undergo electroencephalogram (EEG) and MRI scan of the brain.
Take care.
Hi, im not a doctor and certainly dont pose to be one but i do have the experience of suffering what you are going through. I did 8 month of being unwell, with dizzy spells, eyes getting worse, time outs and piercing pains in the back of my head. After my test and MRI scan coming back clear i got told the problems where being driven by stress, tention and chronic anxiety. It took me along time to get over this but with alot of help and support by doctors it all became good again. Im sure thats all that is doing this to you.
Kepp your chin up and good luck..
