Do I have stomach cancer?

Please help me. I am phoning my local doctors also. Do you think I have stomach cancer? I'm really worried.
I've been suffering from recurrent bouts of painful integestion. At first I thought it was chest pain and had my heart checked out. My heart was fine and my doctor told me it could be acid reflux. She gave me a stool sample test and told me to bring it in but being so relieved my heart was ok I didn't do the test.
Now, because of google and more symptoms I'm realising I have a lot of symptoms of stomach cancer although from what I can see the symptoms of stomach cancer and reflux are very similar. This is how I feel:
Main symotom - recurrent bouts of painful integestion type feeling (kind of in my diaphragm) This happens as and when. Try as I might, I have no been able to pin point a certain thing or time in the day I get it. It seems to come randomly.
Excess gas - In the form of flatulence not so much burping.
Hoarsness in the morning.
Coughing.
Feeling tired all the time.
Feeling full quicker than normal.
Aches and Pains.
Uncomfortable stomach.
Feeling sick.

I do not often have acidity rising into my mouth and my pains are not relieved by antacids.
I am obese. I've never actually been sick. I've been experiencing these symptoms for at least a year maybe two.
I'm terrified, please help!

GI=Gastrointestinal

Sounds like severe GERD.  Rennies will NOT do much for severe GERD.  Your physician should try a PPI medication with you, i.e. Prilosec, Protonix, Prevacid.  I was thinking the other possibility is that it could be GERD and Gastritis.

Also, I would recommend having a gallbladder problem ruled out.

What is your diet like?  Lots of fatty foods?  Caffeine?  Alcohol?

If your regular physician can not sort this out, consult the Gastrointestinal Specialist.

Hi,

I'm about 7 stone over my ideal weight. I weigh 16 stone 7lbs so I'm pretty obese.

What is GI?

Not yet, I'm seeing him tomorrow. No pain killers affect it. Rennies antacids dull the pain for about an hour or so but that's it.

I re-read my post and I have to state some changes. I DO often have acid rising into the mouth and I do belch a lot.

Thank you for your response!

How obese are you?  Any medical conditions?

This sounds definitely like a GI problem, but I don't think it is any cancer.

I would recommend consulting a GI Specialist, getting a CT or US, then an Upper GI/Endoscopy if the imaging shows nothing.

Can or has your physician prescribe anything for the pain, etc.?
