Is it possible

My wife started bleeding through the rectum and after a few tests was diagnosed with rectal cancer that probably originated elsewhere. It seems strange, the doctor is telling us it is a very aggressive type of cancer that was found in the early stages, possibly started a couple of years earlier. This might sound crazy, but my ex-wife is in the medical field and we went through a very bitter divorce, I always thought she would try to kill me if she could. Is it possible to induce cancer onto another person, if you had access to their food? We did get together at a couple of events were something could very easily have been slipped into our food.
Thanks
