thanks for the coment ,ive always felt like the CT scan missed what the problem was, i mean i went down the list of symptoms from Chronic pancreatitis and Panc Cancer, and it was 6 for Yes and 1 for no on CP and it was 4 yes and 4 no for panc cancer, not that u can go,oh u have CP ,because of that, but ive been having these symptoms since June 6th 2013,my GI doctor 1st thought IBS,so i went two months with trying to fix ,went back after the two months ,he did the CA 19-9 and the CBC,and now come Jan2nd it will be Another 2months hes treating me for IBS, i want to lose it on him, shouldnt He as GI Doctor know that Oily BM's and Weightloss ARE NOT a part of IBS, and hes already Shot down pancreatitis ,soon a whole ive gone 7 months without a diagnosis,i mean i know People with CP can only hurt in their back, and alot of them have weightloss despite eating their normal amount, and i defiantly am ,ive never had appetite loss,or have vomited,or even really had nausea, and its been almost 7 months and i haven't got jaundice .... so i mean arnt those good sign's despite having the other problems ,along with the 2 CT's and the normal CA 19-9,i mean i was VERY Symptomatic when i had the CA19-9 Done, and i had already lost about 10-15lbs and was hurting in my left abdomen and some in my back and had Floating oily stools when i had my 2nd CT scan at the ER
Hi,
I understand your concern regarding your symptoms. It is good that the initial diagnostic tests and imaging studies were fine. You may benefit from a follow-up consult with your attending physician. Monitoring of symptoms, further diagnostic testing and direct clinical evaluation will help rule out malignancy. Check with your doctor for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
